Student Supplies/Classroom Donations

Dear Parents,

Below you will find the recommended list of supplies to help your 6^th grader have a great start to a wonderful year.

Items all students need to bring DAILY to class:

• Backpack
• WS Student Planner
• 1 - Large stretch book covers for  Social Studies
• 1 - 1.5/2 inch zipper binder with minimum 7 tabs for making sections for the various subjects.
• 1 - Composition book for Science
• 3 - Two pocket folders one for Homework and one for incomplete work and one for Science Lab
• 1 - Pencil pouch with (DO NOT BUY OVERSIZE PENCIL BOX/POUCH AS THEY TEND TO BECOME CATCH-ALLS AND ADD TO THE LOAD)
  • 2 - 0.7 mechanical pencil w/ lead refill OR 2 standard pencils w/a pencil sharpener
  • 1 -CLEAR, COLORLESS foot ruler
  • 1 - Eraser
  • 2 - Glue sticks
  • 1-  Elmer's glue
  • 1 - Student scissors
  • 1 - blue pen for making corrections
  • 2 - colored highlighters - yellow and orange
  • 1 - ultrafine black sharpie
  • 1 - fine tip black sharpie
  • 1 - 3x3 Post-It notes 
  • 1 - set of page tabs

ALL EXTRA /UNNECCESSARY SUPPLIES WILL BE SENT HOME TO AVOID BECOMING DISTRACTIONS IN THE CLASSROOM.

Other As Needed Items

• Pack of colored pencils and/markers - NO CRAYONS PLEASE
• Protractor - CLEAR, NO COLOR

 

Appreciated Donations to Classroom:

• 1 packages of printer paper
• 3 packages of college-ruled binder paper
• 1 packages of graph paper 
• 2 boxes of #2 pencils
• 2 glue sticks 
• 2 Elmer's glue
• 2 big boxes of tissues ( COSTCO packs are welcome)
• 1 container/pack of disinfecting wipes
• 1 roll of paper towels
