Homework Policy

Homework will be assigned daily which will be due the following day. Students will be assigned homework between Monday to Thursday and this will be up to 40 minutes a night. Homework will usually include Math, Literacy or Science or Social Studies.

ALL assignments must be written neatly and legible by the student with their name and a heading. It must be completed in the appropriate place indicated which would either be in the subject notebook or subject binder. Only pencil will be used unless the teacher has given permission to do otherwise.

**EDITING & PLANNING: The student must show all work. If completed on another sheet of paper you may insert it in the workbook with your name.

If students are absent they have the number of days that they were absent to make up the work. Although it is strongly recommended that they complete the homework as soon as possible so that they do not have a back log of homework.
