My name is Emily Casey! I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade this year at Warm Springs! I have been teaching 4th grade at WS for the past four years. I am very excited for the change and know it will be a fantastic move.

I graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies, a Master's Degree in Education, and my teaching credential. My favorite subject in school is English and my favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird. I love reading and going boogie boarding at the beach!

I worked at a camp this summer for a few weeks, mostly doing fun arts and crafts. I also spent time in Santa Cruz, and traveled down to L.A. and Mexico. My first time in Mexico and I loved it. 

I inspire to make the world a kinder place to be and in so doing will aide in the help of our students by showing respect, kindness, and integrity towards all they encounter. This year I am extremely optimistic as to the great success that we all will gain together. I hope you and your student are as eager as I am to get the school year started!
