Principal's Message
Hello Warm Springs Community,
Welcome to the 2022 - 2023 school year! I hope everyone was able to enjoy a wonderful and safe summer, though we are living in very unique times. We made the most of it and I was able to spend a ton of quality time with my wife Emily and our three boys who are all under the age of twelve. It was great to be able to finally leave the house as there are only so many family activities we can do in our house without them breaking something.
I am very excited to return to the Warm Springs community, for my eleventh year, as Principal. As always, I am here to be of service to you. Under normal circumstances, I have an open-door policy, but since we are not out of COVID and to cut down on exposure, we prefer doing online appointments through Zoom. However, you can always request and in person appointment and we will do our best to accommodate you. I am here to support you and your child in maximizing learning, growth and having a positive experience this year.
We have an excellent teaching staff. I speak from direct experience when I say that each and every one of our educators is highly trained, collaborative and have children’s overall growth and development in mind. They are truly concerned with the whole student and are committed to every student’s true potential and growth. Please make sure to partner with your child's teacher. I believe we will be successful as long as we stay positive, work together and continue to have authentic and open communication. Our theme this year is: KINDNESS. We will be focused on this all year and will be doing various lessons that help students model and practice being Kind to one another. We know this is going to be a great year!
In partnership,
Scott Iwata
