Principal's Message

Hello Warm Springs Community,

Welcome to the 2020 - 2021 school year!  I hope everyone was able to enjoy a wonderful and safe summer, though we are living in very unique times.  We made the most it and I was able to spend a ton of quality time with my wife Emily and our three boys who are all under the age of eleven.  We were able to do some day trips to the beach, which is always a good thing with three boys and it also preserved our house a little more - given how active they are.  We can't believe how fast they are growing and how much they are starting to eat. We are so thankful for Costco!

I am very excited to return to the Warm Springs community, for my ninth year, as Principal.  As always, I am here to be of service to you.  Under normal circumstances, I have an open-door policy, but since we are now in a virtual learning environment, I will still be accessible and responsive to emails, so please feel free to contact me any time. I would also be happy to setup a phone call as well, if you prefer. I am here to support you and your child in maximizing learning, growth and having a positive experience this year.  We have an excellent teaching staff.  I speak from direct experience when I say that each and every one of our educators is highly trained, collaborative and have children’s overall growth and development in mind.  They are truly concerned with the whole student and are committed to every student’s true potential and growth.  Our staff has spent a great deal of time planning this year's distance learning program, however, please make sure to partner with your child's teacher as we are all experiencing something that has never been done in the history of education. Please be flexible and expect adjustments as each teacher figures out what works best with their classroom learning environment. I believe we will be successful as long as we stay positive, work together and continue to have authentic and open communication. I look forward to an exciting year of new challenges and new learning opportunities for our entire community.

In partnership,
